Clinton Slammed For White House ‘Rubble’ Comments After She Stole Hundreds Of Thousands From The ‘People’s House’

#new Hillary Clinton is getting slammed for claiming President Trump turned the White House into ‘rubble’ & a ‘cage match’ after she took tens of thousands of dollars in art, furniture, china and other items from the White House that belonged to the American people

Hillary posted,

“This is what Trump’s done to the people’s house: A third of it is rubble. Another third is a cage match. What a metaphor.”

Clinton is talking about the ongoing construction on the White House grounds, where crews are building a new ballroom in the East Wing.

However, many are pointing out that she said absolutely nothing when Barack Obama launched a $376 million taxpayer-funded project that ripped open the North Lawn.

It left a massive multi-story excavation hole right next to the West Wing, leaving piles of dirt, heavy cranes, dump trucks, construction fences and equipment scattered across the grounds for nearly two years.

She was Secretary of State at the time, working out of the same complex every day, yet she never once complained that Obama had turned “the people’s house” into a muddy construction pit.

Meanwhile,

🔺️The ballroom is something that Presidents and White House administrations going back more than 150 years have said was needed,  but none of them built it until President Donald Trump broke ground in September 2025.

🔺️The ballroom is costing taxpayers exactly zero dollars.

🔺️The entire 90,000-square-foot East Wing ballroom project is 100% privately funded by President Trump himself plus private donors and corporations

🔺️The ‘cage match’ is tied to the UFC octagon on the South Lawn for a June 14 event for America’s 250th anniversary celebrations.

🔺️Plus, many are now reminding Hillary of the well-documented 2001 White House looting scandal and claims that she also stole china, crystal and booze from a castle in Holland.

🔷️When the Clintons left the White House in January 2001, so did hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of items including china, flatware, rugs, sofas, chairs, art objects, books and other items.

🔷️A separate batch of furniture valued at $28,000 was shipped to their new home in New York.

🔷️Donors and White House records showed these items were intended for the permanent White House collection, not personal gifts.

Specific items included:

➡️Two sofas, an easy chair and ottoman worth $19,900 from Steve Mittman

➡️A kitchen table and four chairs worth $3,650 from Lee Ficks

➡️A sofa worth $2,843 from Brad Noe

➡️Lamps worth $1,170 from Stuart Schiller; and

➡️A needlepoint rug worth $1,000 from David Martinous among other items.

➡️After getting exposed, the Clintons were forced to return $28,000.

➡️They were also made to pay the government $86,000 for other items they took.

➡️According to a  2002 House Committee on Government Reform report, the Clintons kept over $360,000 in items, when all values were properly calculated.

➡️The report also noted widespread undervaluation of items, missing items, and sloppy record-keeping.

A General Accounting Office report later documented intentional damage by outgoing Clinton staff, including missing “W” keys from computer keyboards, glue poured into drawers, obscene graffiti, cut phone lines and some missing or broken items.

Clinton aides called it normal wear and tear or pranks, but Bush transition officials said it was vandalism.

In short,  the Clintons took public property, returned some only after getting caught, and paid for some because of the backlash.  Then their staff destroyed white house property on their way out.

Twenty-five years later Hillary Clinton is lecturing Trump about respecting “the people’s house” while construction crews work on upgrades and celebrations.
