Cognitively Declining McConnell Is Blocking The SAVE ACT, Rep Burchett says

A cognitively declining Mitch McConnell is blocking the SAVE Act, according to Rep. Tim Burchett

“He’s blocking the SAVE Act out of meanness, or maybe his staff is running the show. He’s a lot like Biden was, cognitively declining daily.” –

Rep. Burchett has publicly confirmed that Sen. McConnell – or his staff – is effectively blocking the  Act, which would require proof of ID to vote in federal elections. (It already passed in the House with bipartisan support twice)

Burchett said there are major conservative frustrations with establishment politicians who are out of touch with the America First agenda – AKA RINOS or members of the swamp.

McConnell  hasn’t been seen in weeks, and the last time he was ‘walking’ through the halls of congress he needed help, and at one point fell down.

He chairs the Senate Rules Committee, giving major influence over its scheduling.

The senator who frequently ‘freezes up’ during news conferences, and unable to talk or move for minutes at a time, will vacate his seat at the end of 2026 after four decades in DC.

He has refused to advance the legislation, saying it’s an unnecessary federal intrusion into state elections.

Many have been pressuring McConnell to step out of the way, including Rep. Andy Barr (R-KY),who will most likely take his place in the Senate.

At 84 years old, McConnell’s decline has fueled accusations that his staff is dictating policy, kind of like what happened in the Biden administration.
