Florida Governor Ron DeSantis trashed the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner after he was conveniently listed on the program as an attendee of the even so he could be roasted by the host, liberal comedian Trevor Noah.

The Governor unequivocally denied that he attended the dinner saying at a news conference that he would “never attend the event,” and contradicting Noah who said DeSantis was indeed in the audience that night,
“One of my favorites, Ron DeSantis, is here,” Noah declared. “Oh man, I’m actually surprised that he found the time. You know he has been so busy trying to outmaneuver Trump for 2024. I see you, Ron. I see you, player.”
“So, I never, I would never attend that. I have no interest in that. I did not watch it. I do not care what they do. But for them to advertise me when that invitation was rejected by my office, that is a lie,” the Gov. continued,
“The idea that I ever would have gone is false, and why they would want to perpetuate a lie about that, I don’t know.”
DeSantis said it was these types of ‘mistakes’ that make the American people dislike those in Washington and New York.
