#NEW The Lindsay Clancy triple mrder trial has people believing that if you’re diagnosed with ‘psychosis’ even after the fact, or some type of temporary insanity, apparently like post-partum…..you can kll your kids and get away with it.
But it doesn’t. Anyone who is able to take the lives of innocent children clearly has something wrong in their brain, otherwise they wouldn’t be capable of klling, especially their own children.
It goes against every natural instinct, every God given conviction, and every moral fiber in a person’s body to harm a child they created, a child they should be willing to give their own lives to protect.
The Clancy case has exposed an entirely new breed of people – those that think it’s excusable to mrder children because they are depressed, have postpartum or are taking meds.
These women showed up in pink, fan girl’d over a crass defense attorney and even posted videos with the captions “I am Lindsay” or “Same Lindsay”
But the facts of the case remain; Lindsay Clancy mrdered her three young children in cold blood. She strangled Cora 5, Dawson 3, and Callan 8 months with exercise bands. She held those bands around each of their necks, one by one, with ten pounds of pressure for 6 minutes. She watched each of her children slowly die.
And for the women out there who want to pretend she didn’t kll her kids – that wasn’t her defense, her defense was that she shouldn’t be held accountable for klling her kids because she was ‘insane’ when it happened. (She also admitted to klling her kids in her civil lawsuit) The insanity defense shouldn’t exist, and it shouldn’t allow a cold blooded (and admitted) kller to walk free.
Now let me introduce you to some killers who were actually insane…. and were rightly held accountable for their heinous crimes:
🔴Benjamin Cole, Oklahoma. He killed his 9-month-old daughter. He had a paranoid-schizophrenic diagnosis and was found to have a growing brain lesion. He was guilty and Oklahoma executed him in October 2022.
🔴Reginald Brooks, Ohio. Days after his wife filed for divorce, he killed his three sons: 17, 15, and 11. He then left town. He had paranoid schizophrenia too. The court that sentenced him even said he was mentally ill before, during, and after the killings. Ohio executed him.
🔴Richard Fairchild, Oklahoma. He killed his 3-year-old son. He had schizophrenia-spectrum, psychosis, delusions, and brain damage. He was executed in November 2022.
🔴André Thomas, Texas. In 2004, in the middle of religious delusions, he killed his wife, their 4-year-old son, and 13-month-old daughter. He said God told him to do it. He has a long schizophrenia history, including hearing voices as a child. A jury heard the insanity defense and rejected it. He was sentenced to death.
🔴Larry Robison, Texas. Diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. He killed five people, including an 11-year-old boy. He ran an insanity defense. Texas executed him.
In these cases, the men had diagnosed mental psychosis. Real mental illness. Schizophrenia not depression. Schizophrenia not postpartum.
The child kllers were mentally ill and everyone knew they were sick. It wasn’t a sickness that temporarily appeared during the exact time they klled their kids than disappeared again. It was a documented mental illness.
But it wasn’t an excuse for mrder, and people used to understand that.
If you don’t agree with the deth penalty, then say that. If you think severe mentally illness should ban a jail sentence, then say that too. Offer an intelligent alternative that still holds people accountable for mrdering children.
But don’t have selective sympathy for a woman and use her alleged temporary mental illness as an excuse, then turn around and champion the executions of men who have actual diagnosed mental illnesses and commit the same heinous crimes.
The line should be simple. All child kllers get the deth penalty. Man or woman, no excuses. No “I am Lindsay” No “Same Lindsay”
Women who have children, then decide they don’t want to raise those children don’t get to mrder them. There are alternatives, just leaving the situation would be a good start.
The Lindsay Clancy triple mrder has made one thing abundantly clear – we live in a very deeply sick society.
A pro-woman, sympathy driven jury that bullied the one man who was willing to stand up for what is right has changed the game completely.
A Defense attorney who was willing to gender dox, intimidate, press the judge to reveal the identity of the man who held strong then stood in front of the nation and accused that juror of being a bigot, has brought us to a place that we can never return from.
And the thousands of Clansy Clan supporters who spent their days cheering on a woman who m*rdered her children says more about the state of humanity than most are willing to admit.
God help us.
