A bill has been introduced to require Members of Congress, federal judges, and Senate-confirmed officers to be natural born citizens.
Ilhan Omar, Shri Thanedar, and Pramila Jayapal were all born in foreign countries.

Mace points out that this is the same standard already required for President and Vice President.
This bill targets foreign-born naturalized citizens in powerful positions, who critics say put other countries first.
It directly calls out members like Ilhan Omar (born in Somalia), Shri Thanedar (born in India), and Pramila Jayapal (born in India), all sitting in Congress without being natural-born Americans.
Omar is tied to massive welfare fraud in Minnesota carried out by her fellow Somali migrants. She’s also accused of immigration fraud.
Shri Thanedar introduced seven articles of impeachment against Trump and tried to force a floor vote on impeachment
Pramila Jayapal is talking to foreign governments specifically ambassadors from Mexico and other Latin American countries, to help get oil delivered to Cuba in defiance of President Trump’s executive orders and tightened sanctions on the communist regime.

Mace’s resolution says,
“The people writing America’s laws, confirming America’s judges, and representing America on the world stage should have one loyalty: America. Not any other country.”
She wants to end what she calls years of allowing foreign-born members to work for “America last” priorities.
It would need two-thirds approval in both House and Senate plus ratification by 38 states.
Mace saying,
“We just introduced a long overdue joint resolution proposing a constitutional amendment to require Members of Congress, federal judges, and Senate-confirmed officers to be natural born citizens. This is the very same standard the President and Vice President are already required to meet.”
“For too long we have allowed foreign born members to hold seats in this government while making clear they are America last, not America first. We see it every day. This constitutional amendment will put an end to it.”
