A new video shows dozens of people taking part in a brutal brawl in the streets of Baltimore.

The fight broke out in the early morning hours in Federal Hill, which is known to be one of the city’s nicer neighborhoods.

The jaw dropping video shows people screaming, shouting and  trading punches in the middle of the road while people line the street and watch.

Residents told local media that the fight lasted for at least a half an hour before police arrived. Some business owners also said that the late-night violent crowds are becoming more common place in the area saying the uptick in violence is bad for business.

One business owner saying,

“In the last six or seven months someone came with a gun in my shop. I thought he was joking because I never got that before.”

Now business owners in the area are asking the city to increase police patrols in Federal Hill, especially on the weekends,

“The problem I think is because the police, they don’t show up anymore. They don’t come like before it’s sad.”
