Trump, Secret Service Call Bullsh*t On Cassidy Hutchinson Jan. 6 Testimony

The Jan 6 hearings continue in a special session after new ‘explosive evidence’ was discovered by the committee.

However, that new ‘evidence’ coming in the form of testimony from former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson is falling flat as her statements are receiving instantaneous backlash from people who claim Cassidy is not telling the truth.

In her testimony, Cassidy claimed that President Trump “lunged” at a Secret Service agent while trying to grab the steering wheel of the Beast after being told he could not go to the January 6 protest at the Capitol.

Hutchinson testified, under oath, that the former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Tony Ornato described the events of that day to her,

“I looked at Tony, and he said, ‘Did you f—ing hear what happened in the Beast?’” Hutchinson said, using the nickname for the vehicle.

“So when the president had gotten into the vehicle with Bobby, he thought that they were going up to the Capitol. And when Bobby had relayed to him, ‘We’re not, we don’t have the assets to do it, it’s not secure, we’re going back to the West Wing,’ the president had a very strong and very angry response to that,” Hutchinson said.

“Tony described him as being irate. The president said something to the effect of ‘I’m the f—ing president! Take me up to the Capitol now!’ To which Bobby responded, ‘Sir, we have to go back to the West Wing.’”

Hutchinson then claimed that Trump lunged toward the front of the Beast to grab the steering wheel before Engel said, “Sir, you need to take your hand off the steering wheel. We’re going back to the West Wing. We’re not going to the Capitol.”

“Mr. Trump then used his free hand to lunge toward Bobby Engel,” Hutchinson said.

However, according to reports Secret Service agents are calling bullsh** on Cassidy’s story saying if Trump did something like that, the entire agency would know about it. Other reports indicated that both Bobby Engel and  Tony Ornato are willing to testify that the incident Cassidy described, never happened.

Trump also disputed Hutchinson’s accusation saying,

“Her Fake story that I tried to grab the steering wheel of the White House Limousine in order to steer it to the Capitol Building is ‘sick’ and fraudulent, very much like the Unselect Committee itself – Wouldn’t even have been possible to do such a ridiculous thing.”

Trump also accused Hutchinson of lying because he turned down her request to accompany him to Florida,

“I hardly know who this person, Cassidy Hutchinson, is, other than I heard very negative things about her (a total phony and “leaker”), and when she requested to go with certain others of the team to Florida after my having served a full term in office, I personally turned her request down. Why did she want to go with us if she felt we were so terrible? I understand that she was very upset and angry that I didn’t want her to go, or be a member of the team. She is bad news!

Proof of Trump’s accusation was posted to Twitter,

Hutchinson was seen hugging Liz Cheney at the hearing.
