“This employee is no longer with the company.”
Báez, dressed in Knicks gear flipped the can over and spilled cans, bottles, wrappers, paper, and other trash directly onto the sidewalk before walking away with the trash can.
She was also caught carrying the bin on the subway afterward.
The New York City Department of Sanitation partnered with the apparel brand Only NY to produce limited-edition blue-and-orange versions specifically for the Knicks championship parade route.

The city also started selling smaller replica versions as official souvenirs.

She previously served as Executive Director of DEI at The Infatuation, the New York-based review site acquired by Chase.
Earlier in her career she worked in top DEI positions at Squarespace, Saks Fifth Avenue, Hudson’s Bay, and Saks Off 5th.
She also co-founded Same Page Co., a talent agency that focuses on queer and BIPOC creators in media and creative industries.
