Biden Spent $230M To Build Gaza Pier That Lasted 20 Days, Resulted In $31M In Damage, & Resulted In 62 U.S. Troops Getting Injured
A new report From a Pentagon Inspector General revealed that the number of servicemembers injured while operating Biden’s failed floating aid pier in Gaza is 62 and not the 3 that was previously reported by Biden’s administration.
Biden announced the massive project in March 2024 which took about 1,000 US forces to execute, cost about $230 million and operated for about 20 days.
Biden’s pentagon had said three US Troops were injured, with one medically evacuated in critical condition.
The soldier Quandarius Stanley, died in November, five months later.
But the new report by the IG said that the actual number of casualties was 62.
The pier was a point of contention with Republicans who accused Biden of carrying out a political stunt – while Biden’s own party criticized him for not doing more for the Palestinians during Israel’s war against the terror group of Hamas.
The war started on October 7, 2023, when Hamas terrorists invaded Israel, killing 1,200 unsuspecting civilians and kidnapping 251 people.
The floating pier had to be removed multiple times because of bad weather.
The Inspector General said that the US military did not meet the standards for the equipment.
“Nor did they organize, train, and equip their forces to meet common joint standards,” the report said.
